We’re quite proud of the new website for Shoes on East - it has some interesting features:

• The shoes scrolling behind the logo at the top of the screen are pulled directly from the current online catalogue - so it doesn’t ever need changing; it’s always up to date
• When you place an item in your shopping cart, a small photo of that item is displayed on subsequent pages. We’ve done this to make it easier to match items. You don’t need to go back and forward between pages so see if “this goes with that”
• Shoes on East can upload photos, add and change descriptions and prices all via a password-protected area on the website. No additional software required. Our system even resizes the photos and rounds their corners, automatically!

The new website for the Comfort Inn Rockhampton features virtual tours of the rooms, tarrif and conference information, and a comprehensive links page promoting the region.

Motel owners, Steve and Sharyn, can also log in and update rates and specials themselves via a customised administration area. Being the main thing that needs updating on a motel website, this feature alone will prevent the website from being out of date, and also save the Comfort Inn from having to be charged for such minor routine maintenance.
